In addition to delivering services to Weston's existing rig and ship clients, our business strategy is to expand the engineering capacity and to become a future player in the EPCI oil & gas market. The core of our activities is modification projects where new equipment, skids or smaller modules are integrated into existing installations. In most cases a site survey or 3D scanning is required prior to start of detailed engineering and area related design is performed using 3D model. The design basis will normally be developed together with our client's representative, and we focus on a close, service minded and proactive client approach.
Construction, and subsequent construction follow-on, will be performed either at our yard in Ølensvåg, offshore or at a Norwegian or international port.
Harestadvika has been selected to be Westcon's main location in Stavanger and the Engineering Department together with Westcon Løfteteknikk AS moved into a new office building August 2009.
