MF Raunefjord

MF Raunefjord arrived Westcon 25.01.10. Her scheduled stay is 12 days. Westcon is currently assisting  Schottel overhaul 3 Schottel SDC 2020 thrusters and replace one complete thruster unit.

In addition Westcon is repairing the deck surface on the main car deck. This has entailed shot blasting and painting of the affected area. We have minimized the adverse affects of sandblasting by using a portable shot blasting machine.

This will be the fourth gas ferry from Fjord 1, to have these repairs completed at Westcon. (Both Schottel thruster repairs/replacement, and main car deck surface repairs.)

In addition to the above mentioned repairs, Westcon is also completing other minor repairs, including hull surface treatment, and mechanical repairs.
