We operate our company in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as recognized standards of good business practice. We show respect for people, employees and their rights, and we establish strong procedures and standards within our HSE work.
Westcon supports and acknowledges the fundamental principles of human and labor rights as described in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Our operations support international standards for:
Westcon has a fundamental respect for all individuals and tolerates no discrimination based on gender, origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age or political views.
Our standards for business ethics, integrity and transparency are further described in Westcon’s Supplier Code of Conduct here:
Westcon is committed to ensuring fundamental human rights and decent working conditions throughout our entire value chain, including all our suppliers and business partners.
All our suppliers are assessed through our Supplier Management System. This includes evaluating their work on, and policies for, social rights. Furthermore, our suppliers are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which addresses human rights and decent working conditions. In addition, we work continuously to identify and assess any potential negative impact on such rights within our supply chain, and to implement appropriate measures to mitigate these impacts.
In line with the purpose of promoting greater transparency regarding risks related to human rights and decent working conditions, Westcon has conducted a due diligence assessment. Read it here:
Westcon strives to maintain an open business culture, with high ethical standards. We value safety and respect for everyone affected by our company. You have an important role in our success.
Whistleblowing provides an opportunity to report suspicions of misconduct—anything that is not in line with our values, ethical guidelines, procedures, policies, laws or regulations. The whistleblowing process is an early‑warning system designed to reduce risk.
Employees in Westcon usually report issues openly to their department manager, safety representative or by using the QHSE reporting system. We encourage an environment that allows open discussion and reporting of irregularities or wrongdoing. If it is not possible to report the situation openly to the line organisation, or if a notification is ignored, Westcon's Whistleblowing process can be used.
Whistleblowing is made using the e-mail address whistleblowing@westcon.no. This email is received by the CEO of Westcon Group. The CEO is the only person who has access to this email account. The CEO can also be contacted in other ways if the whistleblower prefers (e.g. by sending an anonymous letter by post to "Westcon Group AS, Jektevikvegen 45, 5582 Ølensvåg, Attn: CEO")
Westcon aims to operate in a way that contributes to creating a sustainable future for our customers, our employees and the society we are part of, by managing the environmental impact of our activities in a responsible manner.
We are committed to implementing sustainable practices across all our processes and working methods. It is important to us that our operations do not come at the expense of people, society, or the environment. Westcon has established a Sustainability Policy. Read more about it here:

Through our efforts, we also contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. All goals are important, but we concentrate our work where we can make the greatest impact. Goals 3, 8, 9, 12, 13, and 14 are particularly important to us, as these represent areas where our operations have the most influence.
However, we can also make positive contributions to Goals 4, 11, and 17.
Safety and a secure working environment are essential for everyone at Westcon. We will continue to work systematically to further strengthen safety and create an even safer workplace for all our employees.

We will work towards sustainable production by focusing on our working methods, material use, and operational processes.

We will continue to develop our employees in the areas where we are already strong, while also building competence in areas where we see current and future needs. Westcon will invest in people, because it is the expertise of our employees that secures our licence to operate.

We plan to be here 100 years from now. This means we must continue to develop our company and our operations so that we can keep creating value for ourselves and for the communities we are part of.
